The coat of arms of the Republic of Buryatia is a circle of three colours of the national flag of the republic which arethe symbol of eternity, the inside is represented by mountains and the Baikal waves, the top of the coat of arms is a traditional "soyombo" (Moon, Sun, hearth), at the base the is a band "hadaga" which symbolizes hospitality whith the name of the Republic in Buryat and Russian languages.

    The state flag represented by three colours — blue, white and yellow which symbolize sky, purity and eternity.
