
The Visitors Rules at the Barguzin Preserve
- The Law of Russian Federation “Of the especially guarded natural territories” (art
9. par 5.) states:
“The presence on a preserve’s territory of citizens, who are not
the preserve workers, or officials, not being of the preserve controlling organs, is
allowed only at holding a preserve controlling organ’s or state natural preserves board
of directors’ permission.”
- Visiting the preserve’s territory (including any kind of activity at the shore) is
permitted only to persons, holding a written permission of the preserve administration,
irrespective of the purpose of visiting. The permissions are given out at the preserve’s
office at: Nizhneangarsk settlement, Oktyabrskaya street, building 6, or at Davshe
settlement from the authorized agents.
The fishermen, fishing in the Baikal aquatorium, bordering on the
biospheric lot from the Shegnanda river basin to Yezovochnii cape, are allowed to
temporally use the huts at the lake’s shore, on the basis of permission, given by the
Fishprotection organs simultaniously with permission for fishing.
