It is possible to get to the reservation by the following routes:
- From Ulan-Ude – by bus up to Ust’-Barguzin – further by a leased motor-boat or a
launch up to Davshe village.
- From Ulan-Ude – by bus up to Ust’-Barguzin – further by a leased motor-vehicle up
to Monahovo or Kurbulik villages – further by a motor-boat or a launch up to Davshe
village.
- By airplane or plane up to Nizhneangarsk – further by a leased launch up to Davshe
village.
- In winter time it is possible to drive on ice of Baikal up to Davshe village.
- By a helicopter from Ulan-Ude up to Davshe village.

 The motor-vehicle lease
(winter time)
In winter time for driving on ice of Baikal we recommend to lease the cross-country
vehicles (trucks or jeeps). We also do not recommend traveling alone and in dark time.
The distance from Ulan-Ude to Davshe is about 420 kms ( 260 kms by a highway up to
Ust’-Barguzin, and then 160 kms (4 hours of driving) on ice from Ust’-Barguzin up to
Davshe).the route can be passed for one day if you arrive to Ust’-Barguzin not later
than 4 hours before the sunset.
It is necessary to verify the ice-road condition and its marking before the departure
on ice. You can do it at the branch of the Barguzin reservation in Ust’-Barguzin.
